Snow

The snow has arrived! We all love it so far. I look around and still can't believe we are actually here. The coldest it's been so far, I believe, is -12. Dave is really enjoying the indoor/outdoor thermometer. It tells us the temp both inside the house and outside. Brrrrrrrrrr

We have a new member in the family. His name is Shadow. He is 7 wks old and is a mix of Shitzu, Pug and MinPin. We gave him to the kids for Christmas. He was an early present. The kids were thrilled.

Thanksgiving

We had a delicious Thanksgiving meal at Larry and Carla's. It was a great time.

Our New Home

We made it to North Dakota and are getting settled into our house. We just love it. Our 109 year old house is so cute and full of character. Collin and Kasssidy are enjoying their new school and friends. I can stand on our front porch and see them going into the front door of the school. It's great. We are so close to everything. Kassidy and I love the fact that the street we live on takes us directly into the Kirkwood Mall parking lot. This is definitely a good move for us. The kids love their new home. Collin and Kassidy love having their own rooms rather than having to share with Nathan and Emily. I just love the original door knobs. Well, I am assuming they are original. Also, in Kassidy's bedroom, there is access to an attic space. There is also a pull down attic ladder in the hallway to another large attic space. Hope you enjoy the pictures.

Bubble Master

Kassidy has discovered a new way to blow bubbles. She uses her hands and can blow bubbles as big as Emily. Around here she is known as The Bubble Master. I was wondering why we go through so much dish soap. Emily loves to be the audience.

Karate Kids

Collin and Kassidy have been taking karate lessons for about 3 months now. The class is Saturday morning for 45min. Last week they took a test for a yellow belt and at today's class, they rec'd the new belt. They really enjoy it and have been doing a great job.

All Wrapped Up!

Nathan and Emily were playing in the closet. What kind of trouble can they get into in the closet??? They got a hold of the wrapping paper and had a blast. Emily was all wrapped up in the paper and Nathan had the cardboard tube. In one of the pictures, all you see of Emily are her little toes sticking out of the bottom of the paper. After I found them, I thought I might as well let them play for a while. They had a ball.
